£45,000 + Package
The Company:
A leading new-build, refurbishment, planned maintenance and construction company.
The Role:
To assist in the process of preparing bids, tenders and other relevant documentation, ensuring bids have high levels of quality control prior to submission.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure that bid documents are collated and completed to their best possible quality including consistent branding and language for submission
* Act as a central point for both bidding and graphic update requests
* Work closely with the Pre-Construction Manager to plan, prepare and design tenders, interview presentations and any other required documentation needed for bespoke submissions
* Coordinating tenders from start to submission, contributing content where necessary
* Bring new and relevant graphic design ideas to the team that can be implemented
* Ensure consistent branding for all company specific documents
* Collating all relevant information for submission documentation from the team members
* Update and maintain a library of company standard bid documents
* Maintain submissions records and make available master document sets
* Collating all information for PQQ’s/SQ’s/ITT’s/RFQ’s
* Updating of internal database for tender, interview, Pre-Qualification and miscellaneous documents
* Maintaining accurate and timely records of bids and their outcomes, from which management reporting can be produced
* Working collaboratively and communicating effectively with other areas of the business to provide exceptional support
* To attend site visits where required to provide positive input for submissions
* To co-operate on matters of health and safety and follow the training provided. To take reasonable care of personal and other’s health and safety at all times
* Any other duties consistent with the role of Bid Coordinator/Writer as may be required from time to time.
Experience:
* Bidding experience in a similar sector/role, including managing the bidding process from inception to completion with a positive and successful submission rate
* Excellent IT skills – proficient in Microsoft suite of programmes (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Experience using Adobe InDesign software would be highly advantageous
