You will have Responsibility for all Payroll, HR Administration (including benefits administration) & HR Master Data, activities including governance & compliance, leadership & day-to-day management of the UK Team.
Alignment and implementation of global & local standards and legislation relating to Payroll, HR & HR Master Data Administration. Member of UK HR Operations Leadership Team.
What will the role look like?
1. Providing strategic and operational leadership for Payroll, HR Administration, Master Data and delivering operational excellence across the employee life cycle Arla Foods UK.
2. Ensuring compliance with statutory legislation and regulations, internal control standards and group compliance policy.
3. Leading and developing the Team, ensuring the optimal composition, competence and motivation of the team, setting priorities for the Team, managing day- to- day and long term objectives and pro-jects, monitoring work undertaken by the Team, providing coaching as needed to develop team members, and ensuring work is completed to the required quality standards within agreed timeframe.
4. Working with Payroll process lead to identify & deliver collaborative continuous improvements in systems & processes in order to positively affect both our Voice of Customer & Operational efficiencies.
5. Ensure self & team undertake continuous professional development in relation to any regulation or legislation changes which impact on Payroll, HR Administration, Benefits and Master Data.
6. Initiating and implementing improvements in ways of working within own area of responsibility.
7. Acting as an expert in the field, assist in any complex queries and escalations.
8. Being responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationship with all stakeholders in Arla (specifically but not limited to HR Operations, HR Business Partners & Site Administrators) and third party suppliers (specifically but not limited to Gavdi).
9. Being responsible for keeping process documentation up to date. Ensuring all local process are documented and maintained.
10. Developing and implementing the local payroll strategy and ensuring it’s aligned with global standards and local regulations.
What do you need to succeed?
11. Payroll (Excellent knowledge of UK regulations, payroll processing & employment tax including global mobility).
12. Employee Relations (Excellent understanding of UK Employment Law)
13. Masterdata Management (Good knowledge of Masterdata management)
14. HR Admin (Excellent knowledge of delivering HR admin support and how to create a link between a local admin service and a global shared service center)
