Job summary This post is suitable for doctors looking to work at middle-grade level in the Emergency Department. We will actively support all clinicians to achieve competencies in the RCEM curriculum and completion of the FRCEM examinations. Candidates applying for this post must have a minimum of 3 years post-graduation experience in emergency medicine (EM). An educational supervisor will be allocated to each successful candidate from the consultant team who will help to identify learning needs, develop a personal development plan and provide guidance on career development. Regular meetings with their educational supervisors will be set up to ensure adequate progression. The use of e-portfolio will aid documentation of progression. Regular consultant led teaching will be provided. There will also be opportunities to develop own personal interests.
