Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our client’s team as a Trainee Business Analyst. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work alongside and learn directly from a Senior Business Analyst, gaining practical experience and invaluable insights into the field of business analysis within a dynamic urban setting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Senior Business Analyst in daily activities, including requirements gathering and documentation.
2. Engage with stakeholders to identify their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
3. Perform initial data analysis to uncover trends and insights.
4. Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure project goals are met and requirements are clearly communicated.
5. Attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions to develop a comprehensive understanding of business processes.
6. Contribute to the design and review of new systems and processes.
7. Proactively seek opportunities to enhance both technical and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related discipline (or nearing completion).
2. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. A genuine interest in business processes, technology, and data analysis.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
6. A proactive attitude with a desire to learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
7. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
