The Frontline Maintenance Engineer role has responsibility for the Reactive Maintenance of Injection Moulding Machines and all associated production equipment, which includes diagnosis and repair of electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
A successful candidate must demonstrate that high standards of safety are maintained whilst carrying out machinery repairs, including using Lock Out Tag Out, work permits, dynamic risk assessments, and cordoning off work areas to ensure that all machinery and equipment are safe for both engineers to work on and for other employees to work nearby.
They will work alongside the Senior Maintenance Engineers, Engineering Assistants, Production personnel, and the Development team to provide engineering expertise where required, in supporting the installation and setup of new equipment for projects and production improvements that meet customer requirements.
Applicants should hold an NVQ level 3 in both Mechanical and Electrical engineering and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with manufacturing equipment and machinery, which should include pneumatics and hydraulics.

HOURS OF WORK
40 hours per week, 2 Shift rotating pattern (06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00).
