Job Title: FCAS AP Through Life Support – Ground Personnel Training Lead

Salary: £54,793+ Depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead engagement with stakeholders to develop training devices and associated technologies.
* Deriving and disseminating system requirements.
* Management of user and system requirements.
* Leading the development of the route map and integration of training devices into the FCAS solution.
* Capturing and managing dependencies, risks, assumptions, exclusions, and opportunities.
* Integrating and aligning international partnerships on technology development for training devices.
* Be accountable to the Training Manager for discharging work and reporting on progress, highlighting issues.
* Work collaboratively with our partners, both within the UK and internationally.
* Engage and work with other teams and support as required.
* Work within an AGILE environment.
Your skills and experiences:
* Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in a relevant or related engineering field.
* A background in some or all of the following:
o Training systems.
o Training needs analysis.
o Execution of training for ground personnel.
o Training device or solution development.
o Experience working in the early life cycle phase of a programme is preferable.
o Knowledge of design processes and life cycle.
o Experience of requirements management processes and toolsets.
o The use and authoring of technical documentation.
o Experience of working within a diverse and inclusive team with focus on leveraging technologies and concepts from a broad stakeholder group, both internal, external and non-traditional technology partners.

The FCAS AP Through Life Support Team:
Join a groundbreaking program as the Ground Personnel Training Lead within the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) team. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the design and development of training for ground personnel, working alongside the Concept and Service Design Lead to ensure that our training solutions are integrated with cutting-edge technologies and aligned with broader Air Sector capabilities.
As the Training Lead for Devices and Technology, you’ll work closely with the Through Life Support Training Manager to address the UK-specific needs of the FCAS program, while also contributing to the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) in collaboration with our international partners in Japan and Italy.
