Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated and friendly team at St Helens Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC). The post holder will work autonomously as a senior nurse within the UTC team seeing patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed health problems; triage, taking comprehensive histories, undertaking clinical examinations, diagnosing, planning & implementing care, administering medication and making referrals where appropriate. The Urgent Treatment Centre is located in the heart of St Helens centre and sees around 65,000 patients annually, and has onsite x-ray facilities. We work closely with both primary and secondary care to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Previous experience within a UTC/WIC/ ED is essential for this role.
