Are you an experienced HLTA or a Cover Supervisor looking for a new role?
A 2 form entry Primary School in the BS10 area of North Bristol is looking for a confident HLTA to cover PPA throughout their school.
This school is passionate about providing a compassionate and empathetic learning environment and a sense of belonging for their students. They expect their pupils to show kindness and to display respectful attitudes and behaviour towards others to ensure everyone feels safe in their school.
The Role
This position is a full-time opportunity from September. You will be expected to deliver pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2 classrooms during PPA time and to deliver Maths and English interventions to small groups throughout the week too.
The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who has experience teaching whole class lessons and is confident across the whole Primary curriculum. Someone who is flexible and able to build strong relationships with other staff members.
You will be expected to:
* Ability to differentiate lessons well to ensure everyone is able to access the learning.
* Create an engaging learning environment
* Deliver lessons to the expectations of the school.
* Good Team Player and work collaboratively with other year group teachers.
* Bring a welcoming and inclusive environment.
* Work closely with the Class Teaching Assistant to support SEND children.
