Job summary
North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare Trust are looking for a highly motivated individual with extensive operational experience to lead our Acute Services and Urgent Care Directorate.
Band 8c, £74,290 - £85,601 per annum, full time hour per week.
You will bring with you a focus on quality improvement, solution focused approaches and exceptional leadership skills.

Main duties of the job
As an Associate Director you will be working within the Chief Operating Officers portfolio, you'll be in a highly visible role, engaging on all aspects of operational performance, as well as working closely with your Clinical Director and senior managers across the Trust and wider care system.
A good understanding of adult and older adult inpatient and crisis mental health services will be important, but more than this you'll have a track record in motivating others and getting the best from them.

Person Specification
Essential
1. First Degree or equivalent preferably in management or a clinical profession.
2. Appropriate professional qualification - RMN, BSc Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy
3. Extensive, proven experience in working in an NHS environment, with significant experience of service line/area management
Desirable
1. Experience of managing staff from a range of professional backgrounds
2. Experience of research governance processes. Experience of managing a relevant service.
