About the Role: As an RE Teacher with Teaching Personnel, you will have the flexibility to work on short-term or long-term placements, depending on your availability. You’ll be responsible for teaching engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons to KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 students. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of schools and make a meaningful impact on students' understanding of diverse beliefs and values.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Encourage students to explore different religions, cultures, and ethical issues.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Adapt to the needs of different schools and student groups while maintaining high teaching standards.
* Promote a respectful and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued.
What We’re Looking For:
* A qualified RE teacher (QTS or equivalent).
* A strong understanding of Religious Education curriculum and key issues in the subject.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Flexibility to work in different schools across Northampton.
* A positive and adaptable attitude to inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
