Role Overview
We are seeking an exceptional retail professional to join our dynamic team as a Store Manager in Wokingham. This is a full-time permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to drive sales growth and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
About the Role
As a successful Store Manager, you will lead a small team of sales professionals, generating gross profit through proactive multi-channel sales activity, including outbound calling to existing customers. You will set daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the team, ensuring alignment with store objectives, track performance, and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets.
You will be responsible for ensuring customers have a positive experience by training staff in excellent customer service and maintaining a high standard of in-store service. Additionally, you will manage inventory levels to meet demand, oversee stock ordering and replenishment, conduct regular stock checks, and reduce shrinkage and loss.
Your expertise in team management and development will enable you to recruit, train, and develop store team members, provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback, manage schedules, and motivate the team. You will also maintain product knowledge training, keeping staff updated on new product releases, features, and industry trends.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a deep understanding of sales techniques and how to motivate a team to achieve goals. They will possess a passion for customer satisfaction and know how to create an excellent in-store experience that builds loyalty and trust. Previous experience in leading, developing, and motivating a team is essential, along with a drive to stay updated on product features, trends, and industry news.
