Stirling Council is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced Finance Team Leader to join our Finance team.
As the Finance Team Leader for Corporate Accounting, you will help provide managerial, operational, and strategic leadership for the team, develop and deliver key functional areas, and support the Finance Business Partner in providing sound stewardship and effective financial management of the Council’s resources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Annual accounts
* Asset register and capital
* Treasury management
* VAT
* Financial systems
The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant, with post-qualification experience and continued professional development in these key areas. You will also need to demonstrate experience in delivering professional financial support services and leading a team of finance staff at a senior level. Experience of Oracle Fusion would be advantageous.
