Join Us as a Volunteer Mentor
Become a Volunteer Mentor within our Communities and Education Division. Our Resettlement Support Volunteers play a vital role in supporting staff to deliver impactful projects that address the needs of participants, mainly men over 18. Volunteers help reduce reoffending risks and support participants in creating healthier relationships by connecting them to vital services and engaging with their communities. They act as positive role models, inspiring and empowering participants to achieve their goals and improve their lives.
This rewarding role offers extensive training, paid expenses, and strong support from a Volunteer Coordinator. No prior experience is necessary—just over 18, excellent communication skills, and empathy. Volunteers will undergo training in safeguarding, mental health, substance misuse, and more.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide practical and emotional support to participants
* Encourage engagement with appointments and support form filling
* Help access resources and promote compliance with probation and license conditions
* Report safeguarding issues immediately
* Participate in supervision and training sessions
* Promote Seetec’s values and maintain professional boundaries
Skills and Experience
