This school supports children and teenagers aged 3 to 16 with a range of additional learning needs including: Autism, Speech and Language Difficulties, learning disabilities, mental health challenges and physical disabilities.
The Role:
Support students in a small class setting, helping them with learning activities and personal development.
Use creative and therapeutic approaches (e.g., sensory play, Makaton, PECS) to support communication and engagement.
Build strong, trusting relationships with students and become a positive role model in their lives.
Work closely with the teachers, speech therapists, and educational psychologists to develop tailored support strategies.
