About the Role:
We are delighted to be partnering with a leading nationwide bus company to recruit a Workshop Manager for their Liverpool depot. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to lead the maintenance and repair operations of a fleet of buses, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring optimal performance in bus maintenance and repair.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians and engineers to ensure top-notch service standards.
Ensure the workshop is compliant with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Manage the scheduling of regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections, minimizing operational disruption.
Oversee workshop budgets, resources, and inventory management.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations.
Provide leadership and strategic direction for workshop improvements and operational efficiency.Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience as a Workshop Manager, Fleet Manager, or in a similar leadership role within a vehicle maintenance environment.
Strong understanding of bus maintenance and repair, as well as fleet management best practices.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage a team.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.What’s on Offer:
