We have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Executive to join our team. Reporting into the Area Claims Manager this role is perfect for you if you have Insurance Claims experience of all claim types and thrive in front of clients and stakeholders.
What you will do as a Claims Executive:
* Dedicated client support for any client identified as Key/VIP.
* Visit clients in the event of large or complex claims, investigating circumstances and supporting the client through the claims journey.
* Liaise with Loss Adjusters & Insurers on claims owned by you.
* Proactively keeping clients updated.
* Produce claim experience reports for pre-renewal discussions.
* Organise and attend Client visits for claim reviews & Risk Management meetings and new business opportunities.
* Liaise with colleagues in the broking and new business teams on a regular basis.
* Support claim handlers / wider claims team with technical referrals and technical upskilling.
* Work closely with Account Executives and broking staff to help obtain favourable renewal terms.
* Identify claim trends and make recommendations to help mitigate future losses.
* Proactively deal with all claims, and promptly alert your line manager to any complaints, conflicts of interest, and Errors & Omissions (E&Os), in line with Group Policy and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements including adherence to FCA Guidelines, as well as the business unit's training & competence plan.
What we are looking for in a Claims Executive:
* Insurance claims experience for 5+ years.
* Experience with all general classes of insurance.
* Desirable: Cert CII, Cert CILA.
* Broad Technical knowledge of all general classes of insurance.
* Ability to read, understand and interpret policy wordings and explain cover to clients & colleagues alike.
* Confident to challenge insurers on the interpretation of their own policies and apply it to claims.
* Able to present and host client face-to-face reviews, analyse claims data, spot trends and advise clients based on their claims performance, past, present & future.
* Excellent IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to analyse data and present results informatively and effectively.
* Hold a valid UK driving license.
