About the Service Tan y Dre Residential Services is a 4-bed therapeutic residential home, where we provide medium to long term care for young people aged 9-18 years old with complex needs and challenging behaviours. The aim of this role is to support them with their transition in to safe and happy adults. Our children receive a bespoke intervention tailored to their individual needs supported by a team of staff who are fully committed to understating and meeting the child's needs and reduces the identified barriers. Our therapeutic model will provide an environment where they will receive positive experiences of reliable, consistent parenting through providing specific and structured care, with very clear consistent boundaries. Our aim is to provide opportunities and experiences that widen the individuals sense of belonging through our individualised support. About the role Qualified or currently working towards a level 3 in Health and Social Care, within this Residential Support Worker role, you’ll lead a team of support workers on shift, ensuring high standards of care and personalised support for the children and young people we support. This will include supporting in the absence of the Registered Manager or Team Leader, supervisions of staff, case managing and assisting in the development of the service. How you’ll create brighter futures Lead shifts with the primary aim of the provision of a high-quality service. Provide lead case/care planning management, including assessing, reviewing and managing risk. Co-ordinating responsibilities within the service, with multi agency and producing family information, including analysis and written reports. Attendance at professional meetings including reviews, court work etc. Supervise and guide staff as required, in accordance with Action for Children policies and procedures. Let’s talk about you Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care children and young people (or recognised equivalent) or currently working towards. Experience of shift leading a team of support workers Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns as agreed via the rolling rota.
