Analyse and interpret a range of complex data and facts and report the findings in a variety of formats suitable for the particular audience associated with the individual audit projects.Demonstrate the ability to employ a range of alternative methods, including the use of modern technology, to deliver well planned and effective clinical audit projectsAssist assigned specialities to identify improvements to patient care through the clinical audit programmeParticipate in the development and delivery of education programs to inform Trust staff about clinical audit and improvementEnsure compliance with the Trusts Risk Management Policies and Procedures.Collaborate across the Clinical Audit Team to share learning and identify trends and themes for future focusMaintain records within the central clinical audit database and produce reports for various Trust Groups/Committees (i.e. Clinical Audit and Effectiveness Committee, Care Group meetings, Quality and Safety Committee, IAGC) and within Trust publications (Annual Quality Report, RiskWise)Co-ordinate the review and implementation of NICE guidanceUndertake/facilitate various aspects of the audit and improvement process: identification of standards define aims & objectives audit methodology and sample design of data collection tools and surveys data collection database design data analysis reporting and presentation of results action planning change implementation re-auditAttend designated Care Group audit/Clinical Governance meetings as appropriateSupport Trust clinical audit training and fully participate in seminars and workshops to enhance clinical audit across the TrustKeep up to date with NHS policies and guidance Respond to new NICE guidance contacting relevant clinicians to determine whether the Trust is compliant if the service/care is provided.
