Job summary Junior Decontamination Technician - Royal Gwent/Grange Hospitals We are pleased to offer positions of Junior Decontamination Technicians at the Royal Gwent Hospital and also our recently opened state of the art Sterile Service Unit on the new Grange University Hospital site. The Junior Decontamination Technician is integral to delivering both elective and emergency procedures. The following posts are available:- Post 1 at the Grange University Hospital - 37.5 hours worked 2.00pm - 10:00pm Post 2 at Royal Gwent Hospital - 15 hours per week worked 2.00pm - 10.00pm on a Thursday and Friday Main duties of the job The primary function of the role is the reprocessing of reusable medical devices and flexible endoscopes in in accordance with the departments Quality Management System and accreditation to ISO 13485:2016. We are therefore looking to recruit dynamic and motivated people who are able to work within a team and are eager to learn new skills and build on existing transferrable skills. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
