Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Executive Officer for a Local Authority Client based in North London. In this role, you will provide high-level executive support, manage daily operations, and facilitate strategic communication across the organisation. About the role: You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives: Coordinate daily schedules, manage correspondence, and draft high-level responses for senior executives to ensure smooth operations and strategic focus. Prepare briefings, presentations, and reports; organise Corporate Leadership Team meetings, track action items, and manage follow-up. Act as liaison with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and effective communication. Oversee administrative tasks such as purchase orders, absence tracking, and executive files while advocating innovative solutions to enhance support functions. About you: The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience: Proven experience providing executive-level support to senior leaders or directors. Strong background in managing complex schedules, coordinating high-priority meetings, and diary management. Experience working in a high-pressure environment, balancing competing priorities, and meeting tight deadlines. Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new digital tools quickly.
