Role: Network Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Project Manager with a strong background in the banking sector and expertise in networking, infrastructure, data centers, and migration projects. The ideal candidate will lead and manage complex network-related projects within the banking environment, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery. The role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and oversee network, infrastructure, and data center projects from initiation to completion, including design, planning, execution, and migration phases.
2. Collaborate with business leaders, internal IT teams, external vendors, and third-party consultants to ensure clear communication, project alignment, and timely delivery.
3. Manage the design and implementation of network infrastructure solutions, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
4. Oversee the planning, deployment, and optimization of data center operations, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
5. Coordinate the migration of network systems, applications, and data across various environments, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
6. Risk and Issue Management: Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure they are appropriately addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders. Maintain thorough documentation of all project-related activities, changes, and decisions.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in networking, infrastructure, and banking, and apply best practices to improve future project delivery.
Experience:
1. At least 5-7 years of experience in network project management within the banking or financial services sector.
2. Proven experience with networking technologies (e.g., routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing).
3. Strong background in data center management and migration projects.
4. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and security standards relevant to banking and financial services.
Skills:
1. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
2. Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
3. Solid understanding of network infrastructure, including IP networks, SD-WAN, cloud solutions, and enterprise architecture.
4. Experience with data center operations and cloud migration projects.
5. Knowledge of ITIL and other relevant methodologies.
