Our Client is looking for an M&E Shift Maintenance Engineer to be based at a Luxurious Complex located in Victoria. The successful candidates will be Electrically or Mechanically biased with a proven track record in Commercial Building Maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on site, you will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance within the complex. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £49,000, overtime, further training, and career progression.
You will be working for a large maintenance contractor in the building of blue-chip companies; as such, you must be client-facing with good communication skills. This vacancy is working full Continental Shift Pattern.

Responsibilities:
1. To carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the company's PPM and task schedules as directed by the site supervisor.
2. To undertake PPM activities in a professional & safe manner.
3. Undertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and/or Management Team.
4. Production of technical and situational reports as required.
5. To communicate clearly and effectively with the client's team and support the Site Supervisor as necessary.
6. To ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects.
7. Proactively assist the site supervisor to produce quotations by giving accurate and good quality information when extra works are identified.
8. To update/close completed Reactive & PPM tasks on the site CAFM System.
9. Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximise efficient operation and reliability of plant and associated systems.
10. To ensure that both Client and contractors Health & Safety procedures are always followed.
11. Attend team meetings/briefings as requested.
12. To provide accurate timesheet information weekly and on time.
13. To proactively work towards the continued success of the business with a positive approach.
14. To escalate any major site issues or incidents to the site supervisor asap once identified.
15. To manage sub-contractors whilst working on site.
16. Respond to Building Management System alarms, and effect emergency repairs as needed.
17. To issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work Systems.
18. Deputise in the absence of Shift Leader.
Requirements:
1. City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 (Mechanical & Electrical installation) or recognised equivalent.
2. City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical OR Mechanical.
3. 17th or 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) Registration or Recognised equivalent.
4. Approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building Services.
5. Experienced in Electrical Installation including Electrical Testing & Inspection.
6. L8 Training and a good understanding of domestic water systems Experience.
7. Two years' experience gained within a multi-discipline hard services environment.
8. A good working knowledge of trades such as plumbing, HVAC systems, controls, and refrigeration.
9. Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge.
10. Experience in managing PPM management systems.
11. Experience in fault diagnosis and rectification.
12. Two years' experience gained within a multi-discipline hard services environment within high-end commercial/mixed developments.
