Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust
We are looking for a Project Officer to work within the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
You will work under the direction of the Business Manager, helping the service to improve outcomes for service users across Dorset CAMHS. You will be involved with a number of different projects and workstreams with a range of teams within CAMHS, and with clinical practitioners and other operational teams within DHC.
You will be an important part of the team assisting the Business Manager in delivering wider service objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity to undertake a varied and wide-ranging role within a busy and innovative service, with great opportunities for professional and personal progression.
Applications from candidates that require current Skilled worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
Main duties of the job
You will be supporting service improvement initiatives and project streams, being part of bespoke task and finish groups to deliver service improvement work.
Liaising with practitioners and other operational teams in DHC, and using information and data to understand project impacts.
You will be monitoring and reporting on quality improvement progress and outcomes.
Managing small initiatives or being responsible for specific elements of larger projects, and supporting the Business Manager to deliver different ways of working.
You will develop and maintain electronic systems to record and report staff information as required (for example training, supervision uptake).
