You will be responsible for communicating effectively with highly technical people and be at the front end of building solutions. You will be required to draw on your management and team leadership expertise, you will ensure that software meets the engineering standards and requirements specified by the business, and successfully deliver into production.
The Agile Delivery Manager will actively build and promote an agile approach and environment, whilst ensuring the successful delivery of multiple outcomes via multi-disciplinary teams.
The DVLA is committed to personal development and this position has a learning framework in place, encompassing Scrum Alliance qualifications up to and including guide level certifications (Certified Team Coach & Certified Enterprise Coach).

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
* Manage the delivery of medium complexity and/or medium risk product areas. Managing specific deliverables and products while ensuring value for money and efficiency, using appropriate change delivery methodologies in line with product management standards, disciplines.
* Financial responsibility for the product including agreeing the budget, monitoring, estimating, forecasting, and reporting on actual and predicted spends. Inputting to the production and ongoing integrity of the business case, maximising the opportunity to realise the stated benefits.
* Manage the integrity and coherence of the product, its dependencies and interfaces with other products and business as usual through management of scope, plans & risk. Taking into account lessons learned to support delivery of the product.
* Work with the relevant governance bodies, assurance functions to ensure compliance with product management standards, disciplines.
