I am working with a market leading Asset Manager who are experiencing an exciting period of growth, and as a result they are looking to hire a new Operational Risk Manager to lead on their Front Office issue management for their Property and Private Assets Portfolio.
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with senior management to strengthen and enhance the Front Office risk framework. Your expertise will ensure that risks are proactively managed and that controls align with business strategy and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update risk registers and support the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) cycle.
* Develop and implement new control frameworks tailored to the Property business strategy.
* Conduct control assurance testing and ensure consistent reporting.
* Analyse risk events, perform root cause assessments, and drive corrective actions.
* Build process maps highlighting key controls and identify improvement areas.
* Represent the Property team in operational risk aspects of key projects.
* Oversee and support internal and external audits.
* Produce comprehensive risk management information for stakeholders and committees.
About You:
* Strong understanding of Asset Management, particularly Front Office processes, products, and controls.
* Familiarity with the Property sector, including structures used to hold property assets.
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to support and engage proactively across teams.
* Solid risk management and change management experience.
* Previous Front Office experience, including fund management workflows, is desirable.
