Nursery: Bright Horizons Canterbury Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary: £23,927 - £25,000 pro rata (dependant on qualification/s and experience)
We are looking for a part-time, nursery-based Housekeeper to join our Bright Horizons Canterbury Day Nursery and Preschool.

What you’ll be doing
* Keep the Nursery a clean and safe environment for the children, staff, and families
* Encourage and model behaviour which is appropriate in a child environment, being professional at all times
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day
* To carry out daily laundry duties as required
* To respond appropriately to issues requiring confidentiality, for example, being aware of personal information regarding children
* Be prepared to help where needed, including undertaking certain domestic tasks within the nursery e.g. supporting over meal times and cleaning of equipment
What we’re looking for
* Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property
* Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) – this must be passed on day 1 in post
* Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements
* Great communication skills, with both colleagues, children, and parents
