If you are looking to get into a new field or expand your current experience, we have a HR Administrator position at our contract in Thurrock.
You will support the HR team with day-to-day HR tasks across the contract. Based in Thurrock you’ll support with site with general HR reporting and administration. We don’t need you to have an HR background; we just need you to have the passion and initiative to better yourself. You will also need a vehicle and driving licence.
Pay, benefits and more:
We are looking to offer a salary of up to £26,000 per annum. Also, we offer 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays) and the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to various high street discounts, access to XPO University, a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Produce regular HR reports for the site management team on new starters, leavers and workforce statistics
* Accurately update the sites personnel records for absence, sickness and holiday entitlement
* Ensure payroll are notified of any changes to colleagues’ terms and conditions and act on any instructions from colleagues and management promptly
* Carry out admin tasks that other teams may need help with- we work well as a team to get the job done and require you to carry this trait too
What you need to succeed at XPO:
* Strong admin background – organisation skills, Microsoft systems, office environment.
* 1 year or work experience placement in either HR or payroll background.
* A keen eye for detail- site reports are the backbone of our operation.
* You’ll happily get stuck into a task at hand and be there to offer support to other departments when needed.
* Passionate about building a career within in HR.
* You will need a driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel between our sites from time to time (additional milage is claimable)
