Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

Our client is embarking on a groundbreaking £100,000,000 steel frame construction project, and we are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to ensure the highest standards of safety on this landmark venture. Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures specific to the construction project.
* Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site personnel to promote a strong safety culture throughout all project phases.
* Provide guidance on safety issues, risk assessments, and method statements.
* Investigate incidents and accidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
* Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices, integrating them into the project's safety program.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager in the construction industry, particularly in large-scale steel frame and manufacturing projects.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Main contracting experience within Data Centers and steel frame/manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
* NEBOSH or equivalent qualification in health and safety.
