An exciting opportunity as a Guest Relations Officer has become available to join the team at Carnoustie Golf Links, as part of the Guest Relations team of our prestigious golf course.
These are full-time fixed-term positions working until 31st October 2025 at £11.44 per hour. In this role, evening and weekend work will be expected throughout your employment.
The ideal candidates for these positions will possess strong administration skills and have the ability to manage their administrative duties while working within a customer facing environment.
Working under the Head of Customer Experience, the normal duties of this role may include, but are not limited to:
Guest Services
1. Answering & forwarding telephone calls
2. Receiving and distributing post and parcels
3. Sharing local knowledge of other tourist destinations and giving directions
4. Managing general enquiries – using knowledge of our courses, facilities and local amenities
5. Meeting & greeting; directing foot traffic as appropriate and assisting with arrival/departure process of visitors
6. Checking in all visiting golfers
7. General reception duties – directing visitors with appointments to relevant person and/or meeting room, monitoring logbook, keeping atrium clean and tidy
8. Organising golf rental goods as requested
9. Liaising with Caddie Master in relation to all aspects of the caddie’s role
10. Preparing and printing pin sheets for Championship & Buddon Courses
Season Ticket Holder Services
1. Assisting with all aspects of Season Ticket Holder Bookings
2. Maintaining and updating all Season Ticket Holder Information
3. Processing new Season Ticket Holders
4. Sending/receiving emails
