Be a point of access for school staff to be able to consult upon the children, young people and their families about whom they have concern. Undertake holistic assessments working collaboratively to co-produce a shared understanding of the individuals needs (formulation) and to jointly develop subsequent plans and document these in a comprehensive Powys CAMHSSchool In-Reach consultation document ensuring PTHB standards of documentation. Engage individuals and, where appropriate, other staff as active partners in action plans developed because of consultation.Support Schools to Support Learners to improve the outcomes for all children. Provide specialist knowledge in the care and treatment of children and young people experiencing a range of mental health problems or emotional distress relevant to the area of practice. Provide a portfolio of evidence based, direct and indirect time limited strategies, individual and group based, primarily through consultation, which support recovery. Engage in appropriate clinical supervision to support practice development as per the PTHB and PTHB CAMHS supervision policy. Measure the impact of service delivery, and promotion of evaluation and feedback to the Powys CAMHS School In-Reach Team and aspects of Service delivery. Support schools if there is a significant incident and a need to work in collaboration to provide multi-agency support in the provision of Immediate response support.
