This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join our Engineering Team as a Senior Design Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently designing, testing and installing industrial control systems.

In recent years these projects have been complemented with projects in advanced manufacturing, integrating the latestIndustry 4.0 technologies.
Due to continued growth and increasing demand for our services, our team is expanding and we are now seeking a skilled and experienced specialist Senior Design Engineer to join us.
The Role
Key Purpose: Independently design, test, install and commission industrial control systems. Design software and hardware for control systems.
* Hardware and software specification and design
* Software coding and configuration for PLC, SCADA and HMI interfaces.
* Production and review of technical documentation
* Factory and Site Acceptance Testing
* Support our on-site team with commissioning of projects
* Mentoring of Apprentice Engineers and graduates
* Must be eligible to work in the UK
The Candidate
* A minimum of 8-10 years’ relevant experience, in control engineering or electrical engineering.
* Comprehensive and demonstrable engineering knowledge
* Degree in engineering or a time-served engineer in System Integration with an HNC/D or equivalent
* The ability to independently produce complex engineering designs from a specification through to completion
* Comprehensive control or electrical engineering knowledge or specialist knowledge of one of the following elements:
o SCADA
o PLC
o High Level Coding
o Motor Control
o Drives
o Functional Safety
* Practical problem solver
* Customer facing with good communication skills
* Ability to work to procedures in detail
* Highly motivated and disciplined
