Now undergoing a major transformation, the bank is modernising its data infrastructure, moving from traditional SQL Server platforms to cutting-edge technologies, including: Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Kafka, Databricks, Synapse, and Informatica. The Role: You will work closely with Business Solution Architects and Data Architects to design and implement new features and facilities, enhancing the organisation’s data offering. This is a hands-on role that combines technical expertise with problem-solving, ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable data solutions. Key Responsibilities: Collaborating with architects to design innovative solutions for data management and reporting Supporting the migration from SQL Server platforms to the Azure Cloud environment Leveraging advanced SQL skills to query, analyse, and manipulate data effectively Contributing to data modelling, architecture, and warehousing initiatives Ensuring the stability and scalability of data warehouse and reporting systems Providing technical expertise and guidance to teams as part of the organisation's cloud transformation Your Profile: You’ll bring a combination of technical knowledge and practical experience in data-focused roles, such as SQL Engineer, Data Modeler, or Junior Architect.
