Could you be Incommunities' new Learning and Apprentice Advisor? As our subject matter expert for apprenticeships, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality programmes, which align with organisational needs and standards. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting and developing both our apprentices and colleagues through apprenticeships and learning opportunities.

Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external apprenticeship providers to ensure high-quality programme delivery that aligns with organisational needs and standards.
2. Act as the subject matter expert on apprenticeships, staying informed about new standards, regulations, and learning trends.
3. Skilled in overseeing apprenticeship recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring processes for apprentices, ensuring smooth transition from recruitment to onboarding and development.
4. Support and provide guidance and coaching to mentors and leaders responsible for apprentices, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively support apprentice development.
5. Oversee, monitor, and report on the utilisation of the apprenticeship levy.
6. Ensure all learning and development activities, including apprenticeships, comply with current standards and regulatory requirements.
7. Collaborate with business leaders to identify skills gaps, succession planning needs, and career development opportunities. Utilise the apprenticeship levy or corporate training budget to address these gaps and support strategic goals.
8. Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives, including apprenticeship programmes. Implement improvements based on feedback and performance metrics to ensure relevance and impact.
9. Work closely with the L&D team to deliver training sessions and facilitate learning opportunities for apprentices and colleagues. Ensure training is engaging, effective, and tailored to the diverse needs of the workforce.
10. Contribute to the broader People Experience team by supporting other projects and deliveries as required.
Minimum Requirements
1. Experience in managing apprenticeship programmes, including recruitment, onboarding, and collaboration with external providers.
2. Demonstrated ability to align apprenticeship programmes with organisational goals and standards.
3. Experience in the design, delivery, and facilitation of training sessions.
4. Experience in assessing and improving training and learning programmes, with a focus on apprenticeships.
5. Experience working with various stakeholders, including HR, business leaders, and external providers.
6. Strong understanding of current standards, regulations, and best practices in apprenticeship and learning theory.
7. Experience overseeing and reporting on apprenticeship levy utilisation.
8. Experience in coaching and supporting mentors and leaders.
9. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
11. Keen attention to detail to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to monitor apprenticeship levy spend effectively.
12. Commitment to continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to implementing changes based on feedback.

1. Salary ranges from £31,870 up to £35,519 per year.
