We are a four star family hotel overlooking the famous Fistral Beach, home to Quiksilver Surf School. We cater for family adventures, couples breaks or a friends surf trip, with facilities including children's play areas, indoor swimming pool and a cinema - we have something for everyone!

Salary:
This role has a starting rate of £11.50 per hour. On successful completion of probation period, you will receive an increase to £12 per hour and £50 in "love to Shop" vouchers.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Deliver guest service to the highest standard for internal and external guests within the Hotel at any time.
* Ensure the company ethos is at the forefront of all work undertaken.
* Be responsible for the section of service you are given, completing the work to the highest standard expected.
* Ensure all our guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the utmost hospitality and care during their stay with us – we aim to provide an unforgettable experience.
* Follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual.
* Serve food and drinks quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards as set out for 5-star standard.
* Keep up to date with current promotions and new products through training and briefings.
* Make guests aware of promotions on our food and drink range through training and self-study.
* Assist in any function or event setups in accordance with procedures.
* Carry out work for any function or event as instructed by your line manager.
* Maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from guests in accordance with company policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
* Observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations.
* Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy.
* Present the company and yourself in a professional manner at all times whilst linked to Boringdon Hall.
* Maintain the highest hygiene standards in your personal presentation and manner whilst linked to Boringdon Hall.
* Ensure key legislation is complied with and followed.
* Minimize and handle complaints professionally in accordance with our policies.
* Ensure good working relationships with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
* Understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
* All other duties as required.
