We’re seeking Health & Wellbeing Mentors to join our team and support jobseekers participating in the Restart Scheme. You’ll help individuals with health and wellbeing barriers get back into work by providing tailored, one-to-one support, practical advice, and motivational coaching.
What You’ll Do
* Manage a caseload of participants, carrying out tailored Needs Assessments and creating bespoke Action Plans.
* Provide targeted health and wellbeing support to help participants overcome barriers to employment.
* Deliver practical sessions, including CV writing, job searching, interview preparation, and confidence-building.
* Engage with local employers to identify suitable work opportunities for participants.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to provide participants with access to specialist wraparound support services.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience delivering Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) in a health/wellbeing or employability setting.
* A genuine passion for helping others and making a difference.
* Experience in performance-driven environments.
* Strong knowledge of local job markets and recruitment practices.
* Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in IAG, education, or willingness to work towards it.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
