We’re looking for an The EUC Technical Support engineer to join our End User Computing Team.
The EUC engineer will provide high-level technical expertise and support for all Hardware & Software within the business as well as being responsible for the overall management of the Windows and mobile device estate.
The EUC Technical Support engineer will be involved in identifying, advising, and implementing new technologies that meet business requirements and enable the business to maintain a competitive edge.
This a Hybrid position but will need to come into an office when needed. Preferably near Peterborough or London
The Team:
The EUC Technical Support engineer will work within the End User Computing Team within Bauer’s Group I&O function, focused on the UK businesses and functions.
The team will ensure the service and products are up and running in the most efficient and secure way, also ensuring that requests are fulfilled in time and incidents are solved as fast as possible. Continuation is as important as innovation.
What you’ll be doing
1. Ensure EUC infrastructure and back-office services are available, secure, and up-to-date.
2. Handle diagnosis, troubleshooting, escalation, and notifications for EUC-related issues.
3. Manage application packaging, OS and software deployment, and support technologies for remote workers and Unified Communication tools (., MS Teams).
4. Evaluate new technologies to drive business growth and provide technical solutions.
5. Own and resolve EUC service problems, create procedural documentation, and share knowledge with colleagues to maintain skill levels.
6. Communicate relevant information to the line manager and team.

Qualifications and Knowledge:
14. Microsoft 365 Certified (preferred)
15. Prior experience as an EUC specialist
16. Strong experience performing 3rd line level technical support of Windows 10/11 OS and related hardware, as well as mobile devices incl. liaising with device OEM technical support where required
17. Subject matter expert with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) and experience with operating system deployment, task sequences, Windows Deployment Services/PXE
18. Broad experience packaging and patching enterprise software and use of tools such as PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit and PatchMyPC
19. Adept at managing Microsoft Group Policy in a large business environment
20. Possess in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft 365 Defender for Endpoint security suite
21. Good experience with other Microsoft patching and security technologies such as WSUS, LAPS, BitLocker, Defender ASR and Defender Application Control
22. Good understanding of Application and Desktop Virtualisation infrastructure and technologies including Microsoft RDS/RemoteApp and Azure Virtual Desktop
23. Solid working understanding of Intune and both MAM and MDM technologies for managing corporate Windows devices as well as BYO and Corporate-owned mobile devices
24. Strong PowerShell scripting skills with a focus on automation and use of 3rd party APIs
25. Experience with deployment and technical support of Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise suite incl. Microsoft Teams
26. Strong skills with cloud-based end user compute support technologies such as TeamViewer Tensor, Absolute (Computrace), Google Zero Touch, Apple Business Manager and Adobe Creative Cloud
