A qualified teacher (QTS) with a passion for SEND Knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices (or a willingness to learn) A fantastic communicator who can work with staff, families, and professionals Organised, compassionate, and ready to make a real impact Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor the SEND policy in line with statutory requirements. Coordinate and oversee the provision for pupils with SEND, ensuring appropriate support and interventions. Work closely with teachers and support staff to identify and meet individual learning needs. Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for pupils. Lead and manage the SEND team, providing guidance and professional development. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the SEND Code of Practice. Act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (if applicable), supporting the school’s safeguarding procedures.
