Job overview
We would like to welcome an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to our team to provide training, support and development for staff in the dispensary at Worthing Hospital Pharmacy department.
This position will provide the ideal candidate with the opportunity to expand on a training plan for new starters, evolve teaching to enhance quality, and improve staff engagement and retention.
The applicant must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be confident dealing with a wide range of healthcare professionals.

Main duties of the job
* To line manage and supervise the work of the dispensary Senior Pharmacy assistants.
* To support the supervision of Pharmacy assistants, Apprentices, volunteers within dispensary to ensure cohesive working relationships.
* Ensure mandatory training and Appraisals are kept up to date for the team.
* Strive to achieve excellent care every time.
* Demonstrate the Trust's core values at all times: Compassion, communication, teamwork, respect, professionalism and inclusion.
Person specification
* Registration with GPhC.
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of learning styles.
* Ability to communicate effectively and provide feedback.
