You will also work on the improvement of our risk and opportunity management practices to improve the quality of decisions taken. Some of the Key Responsibilities Facilitate Risk and Opportunity meetings (workshops, reviews, interviews etc.) and perform Risk Manager role in our largest and most complex projects/programs Initiating and facilitating R&O workshops with the project team, which may include customers/suppliers too. Setting up and maintaining the Risk & Opportunity register, thereby proactively challenging/improving the input by project and work package managers. Setting up plans to mitigate risk(s) or secure opportunities, supporting their implementation and monitoring progress. Work with the project manager and project controller in order to monitor, review and challenge the project contingencies (risk budget) and perform schedule risk analysis in to bids and projects Define general guidelines/inputs for Risk and Opportunity Management. Propose and implement improvements in the Risk and Opportunity Management process. Cooperation with other departments and international colleagues to align definition of processes and deliverables. Train/coach colleagues throughout the organization on Risk and Opportunity Management. This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held; if not currently held it is expected that the post holder will undergo SC Clearance, please visit the UKSV website for further guidance. About You You will have significant experience in Risk and Opportunity Management practices and will be able to demonstrate successfully managing risk within large complex projects/Programmes in a Global setting Experience of managing and setting up Risk Registers Experience of managing the Schedule Risk Analysis process, developing probability models to advise project teams in schedule outcomes. You thrive on involvement in highly complex situations and decisions The ability to successfully manage and drive solutions to successful and be able to challenge the status quo at all levels in the organization; Strong negotiation skills with the ability to deal with customers, partners, suppliers and other parts of the business (stakeholder management skills Analytical skills aligned with the need to carry out detailed investigations.
