Working across our military sites in Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire we are looking for an Area Catering Manager to support the operational running of our catering outlets.
This is a busy and varied role where you will be working under the Food Services Manager in the catering department. You will develop positive working relationships with Sodexo colleagues, military chefs, agency chefs and stakeholders and work to produce innovative dishes and menus.
You will also be responsible for the following:
* Health and Safety (including risk assessments and allergen checks)
* Client relationship management
* Stock Control
* Improving financial performance
* Menu compliance
* Improving food quality standards
* Audits
* Staff training
With proven experience in catering or hospitality management covering regional sites and some experience of working with the military as well as an NVQ Level 3 qualification in catering and Level 3 in Food Safety, you will put people and customer service at the heart of everything you do.
You will be engaging, enthusiastic, willing to learn and have good organisation, communication and customer service skills as well as high attention to detail.
Though this role will be predominantly Monday to Friday there is an expectation to be flexible as you may be required to work unsociable hours to meet the needs of the business, and our 24/7 operation.
You will also need to have a full clean UK driving licence as you will be provided with a site vehicle to travel to sites across the region.
