Description The Sub-Agent will be responsible for driving the delivery of FRC works within the Open Section area. This role is designed to be the operational backbone of our project and will work closely with the Agent to ensure efficient execution. LI-SA2 Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Active Participation in Planning: Collaborate with the supply chain and SCS team to understand activities, logic, critical paths, and key handover dates. Effectively communicate requirements before and after commencement of works. Maintain a detailed 12-week programme and record progress against plans. Risk & Opportunity Identification: Recognise and communicate risks and opportunities in the Clause 32 programme. Work proactively with the Agent to develop contingency plans. Construction Support: Assist in developing efficient solutions while considering constructability and value. Maintain accurate daily records of construction progress. Contract Administration: Support in administering subcontracts by understanding subcontractor responsibilities. Conduct weekly progress meetings and formal reviews with stakeholders. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory, company, and project safety requirements in all operations under your supervision. Temporary Works Coordination: Assist the Temporary Works Coordinator to ensure compliance with best practices, liaising between different teams as needed. Quality Management: Define quality standards at an operational level ensuring all work meets these standards while also assisting in compiling handover information for legacy works. Logistics Management: Develop logistics plans according to site requirements ensuring suppliers and subcontractors are aware of these requirements. Qualifications Relevant CSCS Card. Training in Health & Safety and Environmental management Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a Civil Engineering allied subject or Previous experience working in a heavy-civils environment, including self-delivery of reinforced concrete structures Experience working on major, UK construction projects
