This role plays a vital part in maintaining the day-to-day operations of the Public Law Team. The Team Assistant ensures smooth administrative and file management support, ensuring that all required documents are processed, organised, and compliant. The role is critical in supporting the fee earners and Practice Assistants by translating their needs into practical solutions, keeping everything running efficiently.\n\nYou will be working 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday\n\nyou can work from home 2 days a week\n\nWhat does the role actually involve?\n\nClient & Marketing Support:\n\nHelping schedule and organise tender meetings, interviews, and client training.\n\nUpdating client and prospect information within the firm's system.\n\nEnsuring client protocols and procedures are understood and followed.\n\nFile Management:\n\nMaintaining and updating both electronic and paper files.\n\nOpening and closing files, ensuring compliance with internal standards.\n\nAssisting with archiving and ensuring proper document management.\n\nEvent and Travel Coordination:\n\nOrganising seminars, conferences, and internal events.\n\nHandling logistics, including booking travel and ordering promotional materials.\n\nAdministrative Support:\n\nPerforming general administrative tasks such as answering calls, printing, scanning, and making travel arrangements.\n\nAssisting the PA with billing, expenses, and other ad hoc requests.\n\nWhat technical skills are required for someone to be successful and enjoy the role?\n\nRelevant Office-based Administration Experience: Ideally in a legal or corporate environment.\n\nDocument Management/Case Management Systems: Experience with these is essential for managing files and documents.\n\nIntermediate Microsoft Office Skills: The ability to use office software to manage schedules, documents, and data.\n\nWho would be a good fit for this role?\n\nThe ideal candidate will be someone who can:\n\nCommunicate effectively and professionally with internal and external clients.\n\nStay organised and manage their time in a fast-paced environment.\n\nBe conscientious and take responsibility for their work.\n\nMaintain a positive attitude and adapt to changes quickly.\n\nDisplay excellent attention to detail and be customer-service-focused.\n\nOffice Angels acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
