Job Purpose:
Strategic planning & delivery of a multi-tiered Events programme to support Quintain Living's acquisition & retention goals: delighting customers, driving resident engagement & interaction, boosting advocacy and length of stay whilst differentiating Quintain Living v other rental options (BTR or standard landlords). In parallel build and maintain our "QL perks", a exclusive range of brand partners that supports residents rental experience and drives secondary revenue. The role will require 5 over 7 day working, to include weekends/bank holidays and evenings as and when event and market activities dictate.
As a key player in the Marketing dept you'll work closely with our Resident team (Operations), our Leasing team, Wembley Park Marketing & Estate teams (who handle place-making activities and control operations in the public realm outside our buildings respectively). Plus collaborate with key brand partners and local Wembley Park brand and partners.
Key Accountabilities:
* Ideate, plan & execute annual, multi-tiered Resident event programme from likes of "everyday" events such as movie night, paint & prosecco, quiz night to 'flagship' exclusive, higher spend, money can't buy experiences, and others in between to drive retention and amplify via social media to support acquisition.
* Ideate, plan & execute a select few Corporate event per year to nurture new & existing B2B relationships with selected agents & partners that deliver new residents too us.
* Deliver excellent Event management best practice: creative event concepts that are achievable, well planned and executed on time, to standard and on budget with the customer experience at the heart of the plan. All whilst ensuring highest standards of Health and Safety compliance, appropriate Security and/or Stewarding, including insurances, licencing and event command and control processes.
* Collate event plans that can be circulated to all stakeholders for review/input, to support briefings or just for FYI: from event branding & comms (Marketing), Resident team (Operations), WP Marketing (Place-making) and QL Exec.
* Support event videography & photography output for social media content delivery as and when required.
Responsible for tracking event attendance by event, by building, v ticket allocations as well as satisfaction, plus full event budgetary responsibility.
* Build and maintain "QL Perks" - a range of revenue ~& non-revenue generating brand partners that supports the resident experience from move in to move out, driving improvement from this value-add scheme that differentiates us from the market, makes our resident's every day renting lives easier whilst driving incremental revenue for the business.
* Management of commission/revenue tracker from QL Perks partners ensuring aligned with both partners and Finance.
General Accountabilities:
* Undertake additional relevant duties which fall under the general scope of the role, as directed by your Manager, raising any issues with capacity so they can be properly managed.
* Participate in the full year and half year Performance Development Review process as reviewer and reviewee, meeting the standards and timescales required by the Company.
* At all times ensure that your understanding and skill level regarding the Company's IT systems are up to date, as applicable to your role. Undertake IT training as required to ensure full and proper use of the available technology.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Event Lead/Manager within a B2C brand.
* Educated to A level standard (or equivalent).
* IOSH Managing Safely Certificate (or other equivalent 1st level health and safety qualification) (desirable).
* NEBOSH General certificate and have relevant experience of risk assessment and activity method statement review (desirable).
* Other supporting or complimentary qualifications (desirable).
Experience/Skills/Attributes
* An interest in running indoor, outdoor and community events.
* A laser-sharp eye for detail is essential for this role. Excellent organisation, project planning and management skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel events.
* A creative lead who has vision and can ideate events by getting into the minds of our customer as to what they would enjoy.
* Team player with good demonstrable people & stakeholder management experience.
* Experience of working with external event partners/companies, stakeholders and suppliers.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to adapt communication style to the relevant audience. Excellent listening skills.
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with a passion and drive to achieve the best possible result and continually improve.
* Warm, welcoming, confident people person - though you won't be hosting every event, you'll be able to engage with our residents, so customer service mindset is critical.
* IT skills - must be a competent user of all Microsoft Office applications.
