Hurstmere School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Cover Supervisor, to start with immediate effect.
Support Staff play a vital role in assisting teaching staff to make the education of their students their first concern, and are accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct. The role of Cover Supervisor is to ensure an engaging and safe working environment for classes whose teacher is absent in order for all students to be able to access and complete the work set by the member of teaching staff.
This is a full time, permanent, Term Time Only role, paid based on the Bexley NJC pay scale point 7.1-7.4 (FTE £31,524 - £32,921 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis - £27,114.27 - £28,324.46).
The working pattern for this position consists of Monday-Thursday 8:10 - 16:00, and Friday 8:10 - 15:20, with a 30 minute unpaid break.
