Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician (electrical bias), ready to take on a pivatol role within the Renewables sector? Due to some exciting major project wins, my client is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join them to form part of this vital team at the forefront of one of their £multi-million projects. Maintaining and repairing technical equipment in challenging and rewarding environments both on and offshore, this role combines hands-on technical work with opportunities to innovate, all while upholding a strong safety culture. Based within a commutable distance of Grimsby, the role will offer you the flexibility to work from home when not offshore on scheduled days. What You’ll Be Doing as a Maintenance Technician: Perform visual inspections, functional checks, and maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and repair faults in low-voltage (LV) and mechanical systems. Accurately complete and maintain documentation, including daily reports and maintenance records. Prepare, review, and improve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations in offshore settings. Collaborate with internal teams and client representatives to ensure smooth operations. You will be based from home and when not offshore, will support the service delivery team with some of the above functions. You will work approx. 10 days per month offshore but will return onshore of an evening. An uplift in pay will be allocated accordingly. What You’ll Need as the Electrical Maintenance Technician: Essential Proven experience in a similar Maintenance Technician role. 18th Edition electrical qualification. GWO and BOSIET training with a valid medical certificate. Strong communication skills and a personable approach to building effective relationships. High level of integrity, self-motivation, and a hands-on attitude. Ability to prioritise, plan, and meet deadlines autonomously. Good all round IT skills and a proficient working knowledge of Excel. Desirable: Level 3 Testing and Inspection certification. CompEx certification. What’s In It for You?
