Hours: Monday to Friday, School Hours

Pay: £95 a day

We’re looking for an exceptional SEN Learning Mentor to join our team in Derby. This role is not for the faint-hearted, but for those ready to dive deep into the heart of education. You'll work alongside students with a range of SEN and SEMH needs across various key stages, guiding them as they unlock their potential and grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
In this role, you’ll:
* Provide one-to-one support and group interventions for students with SEN and SEMH needs.
* Be a positive role model in both classroom settings and social interactions.
* Help students develop not just academically, but also their confidence and social skills.
* Work with a dynamic team of teachers, tutors, vocational leaders, and teaching assistants.
Your work will be integral in ensuring that each child has the opportunity to succeed, despite the challenges they face.
What You’ll Bring To The Table
* A genuine passion for helping students with SEN and SEMH needs thrive.
* Previous experience supporting children in an educational environment is highly valued (though qualifications such as TA Level 2 or equivalent are not a necessity).
* A positive, engaging attitude—you’re someone who can connect with students and make them feel seen, heard, and valued.
* An understanding of a wide range of student needs and the flexibility to adapt your approach to suit different age groups and abilities.
