Job Title: Project Engineer/ Coordinator - Automotive Bodyshop Installations
Job Summary: As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role within our client's project team, overseeing the planning and execution of installation and commissioning activities across multiple ongoing projects. Your responsibilities will include coordinating project activities from design to handover, managing documentation flow, implementing strategies, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and control projects from the design stage to completion and handover to the customer site.
2. Manage the receipt and distribution of drawings and documentation to our client's suppliers, including mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
3. Implement installation and commissioning strategies according to project baselines and supplier specifications.
4. Plan and schedule project installation and commissioning activities from the early phases of project execution.
5. Monitor KPIs and define corrective actions as necessary.
6. Assess technical contents of tenders received from suppliers and manage change requests.
7. Define site plans and budgets, including resource allocation and equipment procurement.
8. Generate internal and customer periodic reports on project status and progress.
9. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, working closely with our client's site safety coordinator.
10. Manage supplier activities acceptance and organize review meetings with site teams and subcontractors.
11. Ensure timely completion of quality milestones according to project schedules.
12. Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
Knowledge & Skills:
1. Proficiency in technical drawings and automation installation.
2. Strong project planning and monitoring skills.
3. Familiarity with internal processes and procedures.
4. Ability to create technical reports and implement problem-solving methodologies.
5. Experience in managing KPIs and monitoring project progress.
6. Knowledge of customer production processes and resource allocation.
7. Familiarity with technical specifications, schedules, and project management principles.
8. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
10. Leadership qualities with the ability to build relationships and lead teams effectively.
11. Proactive approach to planning and decision-making.
12. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
Qualifications:
1. Technical High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Degree in Engineering or related field.
3. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Project Team member.
Languages:
Proficiency in English (Intermediate level). Fluency in a second language preferred.
