The purpose of the role is to assist with the day-to-day operations of the Compliance Department and to help communicate, maintain, and monitor the ongoing compliance activities within the company. This includes all aspects of the Branch ISO14001 accreditation and various other environmental requirements and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Work in collaboration with departments to enhance compliance awareness and processes.
2. Implement the Business Continuity Plan.
3. Deputise for the Compliance Manager, the Environmental & Compliance Officer, and the Compliance Administrator.
4. Manage the updating of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) documentation.
5. Conduct completion of various check sheets and questionnaires.
6. Lead and document the nationwide Fixed Asset audits.
7. Lead the administration of various Compliance & Legal training activities.
8. Manage the setup and maintenance of the SAP system user profiles.
9. Ensure the issue of the Compliance New Starter Induction Pack.
10. Support the maintenance of all necessary requirements to retain the Branch ISO14001 accreditation.
11. Support the reporting of Battery and WEEE data on a quarterly basis as a regulatory compliance obligation.
What the employer is looking for:
1. 3 years+ compliance experience.
2. Knowledge of ISO14001 is desirable.
3. IT competent and confident using MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
4. Ability to multi-task.
5. Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
6. Experience of working to deadlines and motivating/monitoring others.
7. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
