We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and committed teacher to join this very successful school within the Early Years Department teaching in the Reception Class, from September 2025.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional practitioner with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children with SEND and in particular, PMLD, SLD or ASD. Candidates must be able to use their own initiative and be committed to working as part of an established and highly motivated team to provide stimulating and interesting learning opportunities.
Experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage and SEND is paramount, including skills to lead and support a team.
Applications are welcome from newly qualified teachers, teachers who may already be working in a Special School and from those currently working in a mainstream school who are looking to make the move into a Special School.
The post offers exciting professional development opportunities for candidates seeking to develop their career within a supportive and experienced team.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a Self-Disclosure Form in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education and will also be subject to an online search. This post is also subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and against the ISA Barred List for Children including overseas criminal background checks where applicable.
