More about yourrole
You will be our presence inthe neighbourhoods you manage, spending the majority of your timeworking in our communities, providing an effective and efficienttenancy and estate management service to our customers. Withsupport from the Tenancy Enforcement Team you will ensure thatcustomers meet their contractual obligations and thatneighbourhoods are as safe, clean and attractive aspossible.
An important aspect of your role willbe carrying out tenancy reviews and property inspections, workingwith your team to create neighbourhood and continuous improvementplans that ensure estate standards are upheld and budgets adheredto within a customer-focused framework.
Reporting into the Area Manager, you will work as part ofan established team to manage our neighbourhoods.

* experience in carrying out a Housing Officer/HousingManager role and directly managing affordable housing
* good communication skills, verbal andwritten
* manage a busy workload,prioritising when needed and multi-tasking different tasks whilstachieving deadlines and desired outcomes.

This role is agile/home based and, as themajority of your work will focus mainly in North East England andsurrounding areas where you will be required to carry out sitevisits.

We need you to have excellentcommunication skills ensuring a polite and courteous manner at alltimes is paramount to this role – you won't be sat behind a desk orphone; you will be working closely with our customers and externalagencies. Therefore, you should be able to demonstrate theability to create and maintain effective workingrelationships.
You should have experienceworking within a similar tenancy and estates management role andhave relevant and up to date knowledge around housing and tenancylegislation and procedures which can be acted upon to make informeddecisions.
